Kristen Flow, LPC-S
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor in Texas (#79791), a Certified Revisioning Practitioner, and an EMDR-trained therapist. My work is deeply trauma-focused and informed by a nuanced understanding of dissociation and neuroplasticity, allowing for attuned interventions that support meaningful and lasting change.
I am a deeply curious and attuned listener with a natural ability to recognize patterns, complexity, and what lies beneath the surface. I approach people in context, particularly where shame, trauma, or internal conflict influence their experience. My work integrates analytical clarity with grounded emotional presence, with a focus on safety, autonomy, and helping others reconnect with themselves in ways that feel manageable and meaningful.
I value authenticity and collaboration, and I strive to make even the most complex inner experiences feel understandable, workable, and less overwhelming.
I work primarily with adults and offer both standard sessions and extended or intensive options for deeper, focused work.
Revisioning Psychotherapy
Revisioning Rapid Mirror Neuron Therapy, developed by Dr. Mark Rider and Dr. Lynn Heselton, is a neuroscience-informed, experiential approach designed to address childhood and adult trauma, traumatic grief, and all levels of dissociation, including Dissociative Identity Disorder. Revisioning uses imagery, a mirror, and guided experiential processes to support integration within the brain and nervous system, facilitating resolution of trauma-related symptoms.
EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, developed by Dr. Francine Shapiro, is a neuroscience-informed therapy for trauma and distressing life experiences. EMDR engages the brain’s natural information processing system through bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, tapping, or auditory cues. This process supports the integration of distressing memories so they can be stored in a more adaptive way, reducing their emotional intensity and impact.
